Why I support all lives matter (as a woman) and why I support all lives matter

Black lives matter is a cover up term for “Only Black Men’s Lives Matter.” The black community does not care about the welfare of women and for my entire life, my safety has been threatened by the aggression of black men.

A few weeks into the 2020 unrest following George Floyd’s seat (R. I. P), I stumbled onto a video of four blacken harassing and bullying a woman. When the internet found them, it was noticed that all these men had #BLM in their bio.

Later after that, I received news about a trans woman who was harrased and assaulted by a group of black men as they laughed and recorded. I then realised that BLM only revolves around the lives of lazy and entitled black men. Flash forward to 2021, after increased hate crimes against Asians, I stumbled onto a Tiktok video of a Caucasian lady being punched in the face after trying to defend herself from a man that groped her innapropriately.

In the comments, there were people calling her “Karen”, the racial slur for white women, saying that she deserved it, laughing and justifying the fact that she had been physically abused by a physically stronger black man. One of the men in the comments said “this is how we need to deal with them in order to put them in their place.”

This scared me to death, it also hurt me, because my best friend is a lovely lady of French decent who helped me through university and is very close to my heart. I also remembered the immense amounts of hostility she received from other black students in my class who hated her just because she is white. They even went as far as to accuse her of being racist, yet she wasn’t. The almost made her lose her job and bullied her so much.

I then remembered my own life experiences including all the racist things I heard about BTS from the boys around me. From my life experience, black people can be extremely and violently racist. A lot of people use BLM as a chance to peddle their own hate and prejudice.

The community is also heavily misogynist. I know that BLM means – Only Black Men’s Lives Matter. Which is why I do not support it. I believe all lives matter, and nobody should have the right to bully others.
