Conquering the voice in my head.
Courage carries within it the seed of success.
I don’t quite remember when it started, but I remember when it got intense. I couldn’t go a minute without the voice in my head saying something negative about me. Florence Scovel Shinn calls this “the evil stepmother” from who one must find liberation in order to unlock their acres of diamonds.
I learnt to challenge the voice and not believe a thought if it comes with intense negativity. Questioning the negative voice helps a lot. It is usually fear based.
Love always conquers fear. Love carries within it, the seed of courage. Courage carries the seed of success. When in doubt, do the fearless thing. You will soon see that all is well with the outside world. When faced with negativity, give love. Love is the alchemical compound that transmutes frightful situations into non- threatening milestones.
Take heart, and always be brave. Fortune favors the bold.
